In poker games, wagers are placed in a common pot awarded to the winner. In all other games, players may take turns being the player-dealer and wagering against the other players. Player wagers are paid or collected only to the extent that the player-dealer wager is large enough to cover all the other player wagers. The player-dealer chooses the amount of their wager. The house does not wager or play in the player-dealer position.
